Removing
a Product From A Location Inventory In The
HazSoft-Internet Hosted Application.
Situation:
You have ceased using a chemical, either
business-wide or at a particular location, and you want to remove
it from inventory.
What you do:
- First, you must login and you must
have at least view/add/edit permission.
- After login, choose the "inventory"
link on the menu bar (Top of the page, under the HazSoft
logo graphic).
- You will now see a drop-down box reading
"Select Location."
- Choose the Location from which you want
to remove the product from the drop-down list.
- You will now see two buttons; "Change
Inventory" and "View History."
(Notice that the "Quantity" and "UOM" (Unit
of Measurement) fields are inactive!)
- Choose the "Change Inventory"
button.
- You should now see three new buttons;
"Add," "Cancel" and "OK." (Notice
that the "Quantity" and "UOM" fields are
now active!)
- Find the line for the product(s) you
are removing from inventory and change the quantity to 0.
- Choose "OK."
- You are taken back to the Inventory
page where the product now is not listed, and the fields are
once again inactive.
