A Product to Inventory In The
HazSoft-Internet Hosted Application

You have added locations and now you
want to assign chemical inventories to your locations.
What you do:

logo graphic).
- You will now see a drop-down box reading
"Select Location."
- Choose the Location you want to assign
inventory to from the drop-down list.
- You will now see two buttons; "Change
Inventory" and "View History."
(Notice that the "Quantity" and "UOM" (Unit
of Measurement) fields are inactive!)
- Choose the "Change Inventory"
button.
- You should now see three new buttons;
"Add," "Cancel" and "OK." (Notice
that the "Quantity" and "UOM" fields are
now active!)

second window appears containing for the search routine.
- Choose how you wish to search for your
product from the drop-down list and enter the appropriate information
in the "Name or Number" field.

- Yes, you could choose the "Show
All" button, but as your database gets larger this will
take more time.
- Scroll or page through until you find
the product(s) you want to add to inventory. If you don't
see the product(s) you are looking for, see "Adding
MSDS's to Your Account."
- You must enter a quantity of at least
"1" plus any UOM that is appropriate.
- If there is more than one product in
this search that you wish to add, go ahead and complete Step
#13 for every product.
- If you make a mistake and wish to start
over entering quantities, choose the "Clear" button
or, if you simply want to quit, choose the "Close"
button.
- If you are ready to add this product
to your inventory, choose the "Add Inventory" button
and watch the page behind to see it automatically update.
- If you wish to add more products at
this time repeat steps 9 - 16.
- When you are finished adding inventory
to this location close the Add Inventory window by pressing
the "X" in the upper right-hand corner of the window.
If you want to edit the existing inventory
for a location...
- Complete steps 1 - 7 listed above.
- Now that the "Quantity" and
"UOM" fields are active, simply make the appropriate
change in either or both of these fields for each product inventory
you wish to edit.
- Choose "Save."
- You are taken back to the Inventory
page and the fields are once again inactive.
